Artist Vu Thai Binh (b. 1976 in Hung Yen) is a prominent figure in Vietnam's contemporary art scene, having dedicated over two decades to steadfastly breathing new life into traditional Dó paper. A graduate of the Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema, after early explorations with oil and silk, he ultimately discovered his artistic "true self" in the delicate yet resilient nature of Dó paper.
