Tao Huong

Artist Tao Huong is a prominent figure in Vietnam's contemporary art scene, widely acclaimed as an "ambassador" who elevates Vietnamese art to the global stage. Born into a family with a rich artistic heritage and holding a Master's degree from the Vietnam University of Fine Arts, she has firmly established her position not only as an educator and arts manager but also as a remarkably courageous and passionate practicing artist.

Tao Huong's art is a graceful convergence of Romantic Realism and Semi-Abstract Expressionism. Her work is renowned for its signature "purplish-pink" palette and a "profoundly feminine" aesthetic - simultaneously gentle and fierce. She possesses a masterful command of mediums, from the supple strokes of oil to silk paintings meticulously built up with up to 20 layers of color, crafting a profound and fathomless inner depth. To her, art transcends mere shapes and colors; it is the most sincere voice from the heart, destined to touch the hearts of its viewers.

Tao Huong's international stature is evidenced by her role as a Member of the Global Artist Committee (AAA) and as the first Vietnamese artist to be honored as a featured creator by Atumi Magazine (Italy). From the "Red" project in Tokyo to "The Last Royals" series in Berlin, she consistently endeavors to use painting as a universal language to dissolve cultural boundaries.
